Eye Outpatient Clinic
The Eye outpatient Clinic runs every Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at our Eye & Dental Centre. Services provided include:
- Pediatric and adult eye care
- Mobile clinics and outreach services
- Low vision services
- Ophthalmic testing including:
1. A/B – Scan ultrasound
2. Keratometry
3. Automated and subjective refraction
4. Fundus photography
5. Ocular coherence tomography
6. Cornea topography
7. Flourescein angiography
8. Automated visual field perimetry
Eye Surgeries
The eye is a very fragile organ which requires extreme care before, during and after surgical procedures to minimize or prevent further damage. The Tenwek Hospital Eye team lead by well-trained consultants, clinical officers, and nurses, dedicate their time to provide holistic care for those in need or eye surgeries.
